Today, Maribel has talked us about the difficulties she faced
when she had to be teacher of his son. First, Maribel asked us about the
schools we had chosen to do our first Practicum and she advised us to be
polite, helpful and as active as we can in our Practicum. For example, asking: “Can I help this child to do…? Or “May I do this activity at the end
of the class?” Then, our teacher shared a question in “Forum Unit 1”: “Do you
think it´s useful to know about the rules on Education?” Everybody answer this question to the teacher and we discussed about it in pairs. After that, the whole class
discussed in pairs about the question: “What can teachers do to introduce
children into culture?” Everybody exposed great ideas, like: bringing parents
from different countries or ethnics to class, putting paintings and photos
in the class, visiting museums and places with Google Earth. Finally, we
did a summary of the ROYAL DECREE, and everybody answer the questions related
to the document 1.3.
I think this class has been, above all, useful and full of interactive activities. But it´s hard keeping the concentration at 3 a.m. However,
Maribel helps us a lot with her physical strategies and telling anecdotes.
Finally, in this class I´ve gone on learning new
vocabulary, for example, ethnicities, or core.
