Firstly, in this class Maribel has talked about a resource in the forum. Then, in little groups, my classmates and I have been doing the activity 1.1.2, which consisted of doing a mind map of the three principles of the Preamble we had read. After that, Maribel started a discussion about the importance of an active class when we have classes in hours like 3a.m. Finally, our teacher has maden us think about the reasons why we are making the preview activity, and we realized it was because future teachers must know not only the content of the law of education, but also the aims of the law.
In addition, this class has been quite enjoyable and interesting, and time has passed very quick. In this occasion, Maribel has surprised me with a new strategy, which consisted of asking students to stand up and do some movements after a long time in class. In this way, everybody would listen and follow the teacher saying: "clap your hands, clap your feet, jump, run,...".
To sum up, I have learnt new strategies to mantain children´s attention, and I have lived a significant learning about the benefits of an active class for children, above all, in hours in which they feel tired, bored,..
